This is a travel itinerary of Spiti valley which can be enjoyed almost all through the year. All the areas mentioned in this tour itinerary are accessible by road. It’s a good choice for tourists who want to see Spiti valley in comfort.

Day 1: Shimla – Sarahan – Reckong Peo
Starting from Shimla in morning, we’ll drive towards Kinnaur. We’ll reach Reckong Peo by evening and have a relaxed walk in the town.
Day 2: Reckong Peo – Nako – Tabo
After collecting Inner Line Permits (for non-Indian passports), we’ll leave for Tabo. We’ll have lunch in Nako village which is the first village of Spiti valley region and famous for a beautiful lake. After lunch, we’ll drive towards Tabo and reach there by evening.
Day 3: Tabo – Dhankar
Tabo has a big monastery and caves nearby which were used for meditation by monks. After visiting these, we will visit Dhankar monastery which was also the ancient capital of Spiti,
Day 4: Dhankar – Ki – Kibber
Day 4 will begin with a trek to Dhankar lake. If you’re lucky you can see a large number of birds and wild animals on the way as well as near the lake. We’ll comeback in evening.
Day 5: Kibber – Kaza
This day will be spent relaxing in Kaza town. The main attractions are the Kaza’s Main Market for a bit of shopping and urban exploration. We can also interact with locals and see their way of life.
Day 6: Kaza – Kalpa
Leave Kaza next morning and reach Kalpa famous for it’s apple orchards. Spend some time with local villagers and see how they live in such a remote area.
Day 7: Kalpa – Sarahan – Shimla
We’ll head towards Sarhan and enjoy the famous momo (dumplings) and relax for a while before heading back to Shimla. W’e’ll reach there by evening.
